Lynn has been carving for over 35 years. Growing up in Oklahoma has given him a keen interest in the Old West. His carvings have been exhibited and sold worldwide and have garnered numerous awards. "I try to present the figure in a humorous way" Lynn says, "but I still want to show respect. A cowboy's life is tough enough without a bunch of cityslickers laughing and making fun of him!

Recognized as the foremost carver of western caricatures in the United States, Lynn's scenes and figures represent a time unique in our history. While humorous, the necessary research is undertaken to ensure that each piece is correct and true to it's setting.

Each piece is individually designed and carved. While a number of popular scenes are duplicated, Lynn makes an effort to ensure that the new edition is as unique as the original. Lynn prides himself on duplicating the smallest details. From the horseshoe nails on the hoof to the curb chain on the bit. It's all there! Look at a Chuckwagon Cook's shoes and you will flind spilt flour from those biscuits he's making.

As the pose by the artist and the finished work show, you'll find more than just his talent in each piece. He inhabits each scene almost as much as his characters!
